Day 7, Wednesday 8/5: Amherst WI.

Zero miles, still parked at the home of Dave and Ann Wright.

Well, this has been one restful and laid back day!! Laid back is nice. Beautiful weather with sun and temps in the mid 70's. Went for a walk with Zoey. Took a long nap. Talked high level philosophical ramblings with Dave. We solved most of the world's problems. Now if the politicians would just listen to us. Lauren French, in a comment yesterday, was worried about me forgetting what mundane was? Well, today was mundane, and it was great.

I worked with Ann printing some of her photographs to be used for future painting material. For dinner we sat around a backyard campfire and grilled some huge pork chops. Combined with vegetables from their large garden, and it was nearly a 100% local meal. Even the beer was brewed right here in Amherst. :-)

Thursday we are off to Northern Wisconsin for a few days of camping and kayaking on the shores of Lake Superior. I don't know what the internet connection will be like there, so just hang tight if you don't hear from me for a day or two.

More later...
