Cory arrived about noon. We headed off to visit the small town of Dunsmir, California where we had a long and relaxing outdoor lunch at the small brew pub called Dunsmir Brewery Works.
Then we drove up the access road to Mt. Shasta. The weather was warm and sunny. Mt. Shasta is imposing and beautiful. Cory has actually tried to climb this mountain on several occasions, but has been turned back each time, either because of bad weather or climbing partners with altitude sickness.
We ended the day back at the cabin were we enjoyed pasta and wine for dinner, followed by lots of conversation and laughs...................
